Katherine & Ryan — A Love Story at Pyrgos Melissourgou There are weddings we plan, and then there are weddings that become a part of our hearts. Katherine and Ryan’s celebration at the magnificent Pyrgos Melissourgou in Athens was truly one of those unforgettable days. Set within an enchanting historic estate, with its beautiful stone tower, elegant gardens and serene pool creating an extraordinary backdrop, the venue provided the perfect setting for a wedding filled with romance, character and timeless elegance. At FS Events, Fotini and Stavros had the absolute pleasure of planning every detail of their celebration — but somewhere along the way, Katherine and Ryan stopped feeling like clients and became very dear friends. Their warmth, kindness and incredible love for one another made this wedding particularly special to us. Every detail came together beautifully. Rosetta Eventi transformed the space with an extraordinary floral and candle design, including a breathtaking flower fence framing the pool, with the historic tower rising behind it — a setting that looked almost cinematic. Above the dinner tables, carousel-style string lighting created a magical glow as the evening unfolded. Olon Events brought an impressive culinary experience to the celebration with beautifully presented buffet displays, live cooking stations and an exceptional cocktail bar that kept guests enjoying fabulous drinks from cocktail hour until the very end of the party. Capturing every emotion and detail were the incredibly talented editorial photographer Fotis Sid Tassios and videographer Sotiris Tseles, while Spiros Mourelatos of Mourelsax set the perfect mood during cocktail hour. The celebration then exploded into energy with Eren Percussions, whose Zaffe performance and later collaboration with saxophone, DJ and percussion turned the dancefloor into an unforgettable party. Beauty was entrusted to the one and only Agapi MUA, whose work was, as always, absolutely flawless. But perhaps our favourite part of the entire day was something deeply personal. Katherine and Ryan missed their beloved dog terribly, and we wanted to bring a little piece of home onto the dancefloor with them. So, as a surprise, we created five beautiful sticks featuring photographs of their dog and brought them onto the dancefloor during the party. Seeing their faces — and the joy and emotion that followed — was one of those moments that reminded us why we do what we do. Because for us, wedding planning is never simply about flowers, timelines and beautiful tables. It is about knowing our couples, understanding what makes them happy, and creating little moments that mean something only to them. Katherine and Ryan, we loved planning your wedding, but even more than that, we feel incredibly lucky to have gained two wonderful friends. Your love, your laughter and your beautiful celebration will stay with us for a very, very long time. 🤍
